Restorative Yoga

A slow flowing yoga practice, combining breath awareness with gentle, nourishing, yet energising movement sequences that are accessible for all, including complete beginners to yoga. Elise’s unique approach to restorative yoga reflects her background as a professional dancer, her extensive experience exploring many different styles of yoga and Pilates, as well as her passion for encouraging an authentic intuitive approach to listen closely to what your mind, body and heart needs most from your yoga practice in order to to bring you back to balance and feeling revitalised. Included in this nurturing practice is time for pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and yoga nidra (guided deep relaxation).

DIRECTIONS TO STATION YARD STUDIOS:

Come to St Lawrence Lane, with The Silent Whistle pub on your right side. Continue past Chuley Road Garage, take the right hand turn into Chuley Road. Drive past the chain link fencing until you get to a right turn, take the turn, and you’ll be in front of the building for Station Yard Studios. No. 4 Station Yard is the one with the pot plants and wooden bench outside the door.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a very slow, gentle yet powerful practice, that allows your body to rest, recover and rejuvenate on a deep level. Postures are held passively without effort, for up to several minutes, allowing the body unwind and release tension naturally, going beyond the superficial layers of muscles, to deeper layers of tissue, including the joints and connective tissues. Yin Yoga is a wonderful practice to remedy stress, anxiety and insomnia. To slow down busy minds and calm agitated nervous systems.
