Yin yoga is a very slow, gentle yet powerful practice, that allows your body to rest, recover and rejuvenate on a deep level. Postures are held passively without effort, for up to several minutes, allowing the body unwind and release tension naturally, going beyond the superficial layers of muscles, to deeper layers of tissue, including the joints and connective tissues. It is a wonderful practice to remedy stress, anxiety and insomnia. To slow down busy minds and calm agitated nervous systems. To complete the practice, bathe during final relaxation in the healing sounds of Elise’s mantras.
