YIN YOGA CLASS: 7 - 8PM
Yin yoga is a very slow, gentle yet powerful practice, that allows your body to rest, recover and rejuvenate on a deep level. Postures are held passively without effort, for up to several minutes, allowing the body unwind and release tension naturally, going beyond the superficial layers of muscles, to deeper layers of tissue, including the joints and connective tissues. It is a wonderful practice to remedy stress, anxiety and insomnia. To slow down busy minds and calm agitated nervous systems.
KIRTAN: 8 - 9.30PM
Kirtan is a heart centred musical yoga practice from the Bhakti Yoga tradition (the path of love and devotion), where we come together to sing spiritually uplifting mantras and experience the joy of group devotional singing: A unique co-creation of sacred sound that quietens the mind, opens the heart and creates a sense of unity and oneness.
With easy to follow melodies no singing experience or technique is necessary. This is yoga for your heart and voice!
